Our challenge was, how do you turn pretty pies into a platform for change? Working with viral pie-ologist @lokokitchen, we turned the concept of "American Pie" on its head. When we think of "American Pie," we of course think of one thing: Apple pie. But the American people aren't just one thing; so why should American pie be just one flavor? The #MyAmericanPie series features apple pies designed with multicultural aesthetics and flavors, to celebrate America's diversity. Each pie is inspired by a real individual, giving a delicious and revealing visual of their unique Americanness. Produced as part of BBDO’s innovative influencer collaboration lab, The ResidNYC.
